The Nature Collective is a vibrant Second Life community dedicated to celebrating and connecting with nature through inspiring sims, spaces, and community projects. Our mission is to foster a deeper appreciation for the beauty and wonder of nature, both in the virtual world and in everyday life.
But we’re so much more than a network of beautiful virtual nature spaces! The Nature Collective brings members together through community events designed to inspire connection, creativity, and exploration across our beautiful member locations. Our returning events include our Coffee Collective, with an exciting new collaboration, and Book Club TNC, a cozy reading group where discussions take place at various TNC member locations across Second Life, bringing stories into beautifully curated natural environments. Each fall, we host our annual hunt, and year-round you’ll find fresh, engaging content woven throughout everything we do.
Beyond events, TNC offers a few things we’re especially proud of: our iNaturalist Community Project – Nature Near You, a way to connect your real-world nature observations to a growing community effort, and our free Nature Bingo game, available at our in-world location, designed to make noticing nature simple, playful, and accessible.
