Introducing Rooted

Every community has stories worth sharing. Places waiting to be discovered. People doing wonderful things, and little moments that remind us why we fell in love with nature in the first place. We’re excited to introduce Rooted, the new quarterly magazine from The Nature Collective!
Rooted grew from the same idea at the heart of TNC: that connecting with nature can bring us joy, inspire curiosity, and remind us that we’re part of something bigger than ourselves. Whether we’re wandering through a forest, discovering a hidden corner of Second Life, learning about the creatures sharing our world, or finding new ways to care for the natural environment, there’s always something worth exploring.

What’s Growing in Rooted?

Each quarterly edition will explore the many ways we experience and connect with the natural world, both in Second Life and beyond. You’ll find stories, ideas, conversations, and inspiration from our community, along with a healthy helping of nature nerdiness. We’ll shine a light on the plants and creatures around us, share ideas for supporting the natural world, introduce you to interesting people and places, and celebrate the creativity that makes our community so special.

Our hope is that each issue offers something new to discover, a little inspiration to take with you, and perhaps a reminder to slow down, look a little closer, and stay curious.
